Lisa earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2011 from Cabrini College. She furthered her education at Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, earning her Master of Social Work degree in 2012. After graduating, Lisa began work as an LSW at New Jersey MENTOR, where she counseled adolescents in therapeutic foster homes. She joined Bridge to Balance in 2016, eager to begin working with clients dealing with a multitude of different issues, and hoping to assist them in finding and using their inner strength.
Lisa’s Approach to Helping
Lisa believes in meeting individuals where they are in their respective journeys and empowering them to tap into their own “toolbox” of coping skills and abilities. She posits that everyone has these capabilities within them, and sometimes they need someone to help point them in a positive direction. Lisa also believes that every challenge a person is faced with is placed before them for a reason, and is an opportunity to grow.
