My approach emphasizes personal strengths and fostering a supportive environment in the therapeutic relationship. I believe in meeting you where you’re at regardless of life stage or situation so you can express yourself in a safe place. In my eyes, the therapist and the client are a collaborative team working in tandem to achieve growth together. Along those same lines, learning is a lifelong task and that therapy is just another way to learn about yourself. My goal is to assist you in processing your thoughts and emotions so that you can more develop the skills necessary to cope with your day to day struggles.

Alex was recently featured in an article from Rutgers Today which highlighted how Rutgers’ accelerated dual-degree program and supportive network of professors and peers helped him build a clear path into the mental health field. After earning degrees in psychology and applied psychology and completing his clinical requirements, Alex obtained his licensed associate counselor (LAC) credential and joined Bridge To Balance Inc. in Hamilton, where he provides clinical services while working toward his LPC designation. He credits the flexibility, mentorship, and ongoing training in his role with helping him focus on the client populations and diagnoses he is most passionate about treating.
