Whether you're struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, or life’s unexpected challenges, our dedicated therapists are here to help you navigate the path to emotional well-being.

Bridge to Balance is proud to open a physical office space in Portland, Maine, increasing our service availability. Our Portland services previously included only telehealth therapy and Sandtray Therapy trainings for professionals. With the addition of a physical office space in Portland, we can offer the services outlined below.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy services involve meeting one-on-one with a clinician for regular sessions. We offer in-person individual sessions to adults and children. Our clinicians can serve ages four years and up which means we offer therapy for children, adolescents, teenagers, and caregivers. If you work with us for individual therapy, your clinician will collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your unique needs.

Couples Counseling

Our Portland, Maine, therapy office also offers couples therapy sessions. A couples therapist will work with you and your partner to address relationship challenges. Couples therapy can be useful for improving communication, learning to manage conflict in healthy ways, and becoming more comfortable expressing your emotions to your partner. We also offer pre-marital therapy and marriage counseling.

Family Therapy

Sometimes, mental and emotional health issues affect the entire family. We offer family therapy services to allow the entire family — grandparents, parents, children, and other family members — to heal together. We will work with your family to improve communication and strengthen relationships. A family therapist can help you identify patterns within the family that are maintaining current family struggles.
