Your Questions Answered

How do I know if therapy is right for me? If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself lately, therapy can help. Many people start therapy not because something is "wrong," but because they want to grow, handle stress better, or work through a specific challenge.

Do you accept insurance? Yes. We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, AmeriHealth, Independence Blue Cross, and more. We also offer self-pay rates and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

What if I've never been to therapy before? That's completely normal! Your first session is simply a conversation. Your therapist will ask about what brings you in, what you hope to achieve, and answer any questions you have. There's no pressure, we move at your pace.

How long does therapy take? It depends on your goals. Some people find relief in 8-12 sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. We'll check in regularly about your progress and adjust as needed.

Can I do therapy from home? Absolutely. Our telehealth option is secure, confidential, and just as effective as in-person sessions. All you need is a private space and an internet connection.

What ages do you work with? We support all ages from young children (starting at age 2 with play therapy) through adults and seniors. We also work with teens and college students.

"I've used clinical psychologists before, but it's always a hit or miss experience. However, I changed my opinion after using their services to get through a hardship that I've encountered this past year. The practice as a whole, has a unique ability to create a welcoming and safe therapeutic space in which enable me to have a positive outlook and move forward. I highly recommend the services of Bridge to Balance to anyone in this area.."
