School Services

At Bridge to Balance, we recognize the impact that the pandemic has had on children and adolescents our most vulnerable population. Due to the growing number of mental health issues that students have been reporting, many schools have become overwhelmed with limited counseling staff to provide the support needed. Studies have consistently found a link between mental health problems and poor school performance in children, and those who have mental health disorders during the teenage years are less likely to complete high school or be eligible for college enrollment.

Many students may not have access to mental health services, whether it be for financial reasons or scheduling limitations. Students who receive therapy services at school are also more likely to follow through with treatment, and they can apply the skills learned in therapy to their behavior in the classroom.

As a result, Bridge to Balance has created a unique partnership with school districts to provide therapeutic services both on-site and in our office settings, as well as school assemblies. If you work in a school or are a parent of a student interested in having your child receive therapeutic services through your school district, please contact us at admin@bridge2balance.com.
