Description of Training:
For clinicians who are interested in a deeper level of training to enhance their Sand Play Therapy practice, we are pleased to offer an Advanced Level of Sand Play Training. Completion of Introductory and Intermediate Sand Play Training Series is required. The format is small group (4-8 participants) and highly experiential. Advanced groups meet one time per month for three hours, and participants are required to make a 7 month commitment to study.
Continuing Education Information:
21 CEUS are available to eligible clinicians.
Kim Finnie LCSW and Julie Ferdas LCSW have been approved by NBCC as Approved Continuing Education Providers, ACEP #6253 in cooperation with Lighthouse Counseling and Sand Play Center, LLC.
Additionally, the course, Certificate in Sand Play Therapy, Approval #180601-108, provided by Kim Finnie LCSW and Julie Ferdas LCSW in cooperation with Lighthouse Counseling and Sand Play Training Center, LLC are approved for continuing education by the NJ Social Work Continuing Education Approval Collaborative, which is administer by NASW-NJ. The current CE Approval Collaborative is for the period: August 2, 2018 through August 31, 2020. Social Workers will receive eight-seven (87) clinical continuing education hours for participating in this course.
When choosing a Sand Play Training course, it is important to verify that the host/organization is authorized to offer Continuing Education credits.
